Welcome

MPT_NewWelcome to The Littlehampton Academy (TLA).  I am hugely privileged to serve the community of Littlehampton, and to lead an academy that is brimming with potential and creativity.

This is an exciting time for time for TLA:  we have committed colleagues who are all working hard to improve the educational experiences of our young people;   we have keen and enthusiastic students who are determined to succeed; and we have parents and carers who are eager to support their children and my colleagues in ensuring that we get the very best from each and every student who attends the Academy.

We set high standards for our young people:  all students are set challenging academic targets personalised to each child.  We also expect our students to make us proud with their personal conduct: they are excellent ambassadors for the community and have been rightly praised for their courtesy and consideration of others.  Students are encouraged to be confident, to have self-respect and to present themselves smartly at school.

TLA is a Christian designated academy and we are proud to be part of the Woodard Academies Trust.  We aim to provide a rich and diverse educational environment that welcomes people of all faiths and none, and where every child is 'known and nurtured'.
