Mr Rogers studied Geographical Science at the University of Portsmouth, before going on to complete a Post Graduate Certificate in Education at the University of Durham. He has slowly migrated along the south coast, starting his teaching career in Southampton before working at Priory School in Portsmouth as the Head of Geography and Professional Tutor before becoming an Assistant Headteacher at Patcham High School in Brighton. During his time at Priory School, he was awarded the Royal Geographical Society’s Excellence in Teaching Medal and he is an active member of the national geography teaching community. Mr Rogers has published a number of award winning books for both students and teachers. Mr Rogers joined TLA in January 2019.

Mr Rogers is a keen runner, having completed 26 marathons. When not running along the South Downs or with his family, he can be found in various mountain and international locations, including Iceland where he is a guide.
