We expect students to attend all their lessons in the lead up to the exams. When a student has completed all the examinations and assessments for a subject, they will be allowed to sign out and go home to study for that subject only.  However, they are also very welcome to stay and revise independently with their timetabled teacher if they would prefer to do so.

Drama students have already completed their assessments, but we would ask that they stay in school to revise independently for other subjects during their drama lessons until 16 May.

Year 11 will use two of the four hours of core PE on their timetable to revise independently on Google Classroom or online under supervision. Students in band 11F complete two hours revision on Monday A5 and Friday B5, and students in 11E band revise on Wednesday A4 & Tuesday B5.

When the first exam starts on Monday 16 May, the practical core PE lessons will end and students will be allowed to sign out and go home to revise during those lessons.

If students have misplaced their exam timetables, then they should ask at the exams office for a new copy. Please keep these timetables safe.

Year 11 Revision
Elevate Education will be in school again on 5 May to conduct workshops with Year 11 called 'Finishing Line' where they will cover topics such as overcoming weaknesses in the lead up to exams, stress management techniques and well-being, and study routines.

The following week, Elevate will be working with Year 11 Geography and Science students revising specific topics and case studies in preparation for their exams.

All the resources from the Elevate sessions that our students have had are on our website under the exams tab.

Year 9 into Year 10
The deadline for handing in the forms regarding the Year 9 into Year 10 curriculum for your child was 29 April.

The Curriculum Team will now look at all the forms and start to have meetings and/or conversations with parents/carers and students where necessary regarding any queries, before they begin the process of creating the blocks for the timetable.

If your child has misplaced their form, they should ask their tutor or ask at the data and exams office for another copy.

Summer Term Sports Clubs
These sports clubs run from 3-4pm and students should meet in the main hall changing rooms at the start of each session.
