Exams and celebrations
Well done to all of our Y11 and Y13 students for their excellent conduct throughout the recent exam period.

Year 11 students will be celebrating at their Prom this evening at Fontwell and the Y13 are looking forward to their Summer Ball on 8 July. We hope you all enjoy your special evenings and we look forward to celebrating your achievements when you return later in the summer to collect your results.

Sixth Form Results Day:  18 August 2022

Year 11 Results Day:  25 August 2022

Good luck to our Y10 and Y12 students who will be sitting mock exams next week.

Poetry winners
Earlier this week, I was delighted to award certificates to several students who had taken part in a competition run by Young Writers, called Twisted Tales. Their mini sagas will be published in a book this summer. Congratulations and very well done to Ocean, Archie and Philippa!

I will be including a link in the blog (see below) for the next three weeks to the winning entries. I hope you enjoy reading them as much I have.

Congratulations to our five star catering term!

This week, our kitchen was visited by the local authority to conduct an environmental health inspection.  We are delighted to confirm that our team, ably led by Kim Queally, received five stars for food hygiene - the highest possible rating.  This is excellent news and highlights the great work being done by our catering team.  Well done all!

Hot Chococlate Friday

This week, I met these wonderful students to commend them for: excellent punctuality, uniform and courtesy; going above and beyond in respect for students and staff, as well as being a "ray of sunshine"; hard work and assistance to peers as well as achieving a brown belt in kick-boxing; perseverance and achieving 254 LEEP points; being a budding mathematical genius and competing high level mathematical work.   Well done to these respectful high-achievers!
